• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Incident Response Driver in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
