Job summary

Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Driver to protect people and property at a manufacturing and industrial site.

You will patrol, monitor access, report incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity and teamwork. This shift runs Mon-Sun 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
