Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $16.71 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of pharmaceutical technology and office areas, building perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, reporting irregularities, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
