Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol Driver in Wilson, NC. You will provide customer service, perform routine patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

A valid driver’s license is required; hours are daytime on a fixed schedule. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with a shift pattern that includes daytime Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete daily activity reports and maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
