Responsibilities

• Monitor entry/exit activity and verify authorized access according to site protocols.
• Deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible security presence and communicating with site personnel.

As an Allied Universal officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform a driving post with routine mobile patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, helping to support authorized access and following site-specific protocols for shipping and receiving areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and communicating professionally with site personnel regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
