Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service in Lancaster, SC. You will serve patients, visitors and staff, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and maintain a helpful, secure environment in a healthcare setting.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour. Schedule includes Daytime shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on multiple days.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate with hospital personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital facilities to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, providing directions to maintain an orderly environment.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and promptly per policy.

Security Officer Full Time Customer Service in Lancaster, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet tools as needed while contributing to a caring, collaborative environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance to support an orderly environment.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
