Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification in New Stanton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support access control by screening individuals and monitoring entry points. You will maintain a professional, visible presence, help deter incidents, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor entry points and support access management for a technology-focused location, documenting visitor activity and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points and loading areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
