Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Service in New York, NY to serve a financial institution and other clients. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service.

The role requires a NY Security Guard License, at least 6 months in security, and a high school diploma. Training, advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with authorized entry and directing guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
