Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and residents at a government services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, entrances, common areas, and parking locations, as applicable.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious conditions, unauthorized access attempts, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to supervisors and site staff.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:
