Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Full Time Controlled Access in Boca Raton, FL. You will protect residents and guests, monitor entry points, verify access, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, maintain daily activity logs, and uphold safety and service standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, access logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with residents and site management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Controlled Access in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and helps deter incidents.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
