Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time College Campus Patrol in Brooklyn, NY. You will monitor, patrol, and deter security incidents while delivering exceptional customer service in an educational environment.

The role requires a NY State Security Guard license, at least 1 year of security experience, and ability to work a day schedule with a strong service mindset. Allied Universal emphasizes a caring culture and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors and campus guests by following site procedures and access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances and medical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and logs while maintaining a professional presence.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unauthorized access, suspicious activity, property concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while maintaining a professional presence in an educational environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
