As a Security Officer Full Time CCTVin White Plains, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $29.46 - $30.46 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and transit personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facilities, platforms, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and operational observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
