Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer on a full-time basis at our Bank Headquarters in New York, NY. You will protect clients, monitor access, patrol premises, and respond to incidents with professionalism while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, deterring security incidents, and supporting employees and visitors within a financial institution setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with the protection of personnel, visitors, and property.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and customers with professionalism.
