Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients while following site policies and emergency procedures.

• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders regarding access-control matters.

As a Security Officer Full Time Badge Activation in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing access credentials, monitoring entry points, responding to alarms, and supporting security-related operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and work with a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, common areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders regarding access-control matters and site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
