Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military or degree in criminal justice.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPO certification.
• Armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screening as per laws.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors while carrying out access control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Vehicle Checkpoint in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional communication to residents, guests, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military or degree in criminal justice.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
