Allied Universal in Manson, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across government facilities and other sites. You will perform routine armed patrols by vehicle and on foot, maintain a professional presence, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard credentials preferred; you will work day and night shifts with a structured schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and verify authorization for individuals entering or leaving controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate information to supervisors and facility personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, residents, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access and verify authorization for individuals entering or leaving controlled areas in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
