Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol - Days in Findlay, OH to protect clients across industries, including chemical/petrochemical locations. You will perform armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professional communication and customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, an armed guard card, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Schedule is Monday through Friday 9am–5pm, full-time.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and respond to emergencies per site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, vehicle authorization, and visitor requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities accurately and promptly.

Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials, vehicle authorization, and visitor requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
