As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility interior areas, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted production, warehouse, and shipping areas; verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; and document entry and exit activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, disturbances, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activity, incidents, access control, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
