Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Driver in Bryan, TX to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a professional presence, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old and able to obtain Texas armed certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background checks.
• Armed guard card/license preferred; driver for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, team members and visitors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to deter theft and incidents.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally and coordinate with management and law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain firearms and equipment in compliance with Allied Universal policies and laws.
• Document incidents and observations and communicate with store management and responders.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Driver in Bryan, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail grocery location, conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting customers, employees, and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to shoppers, team members, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and other security-related concerns
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner
• Maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and applicable laws
• Document security-related incidents and observations, and coordinate with store management, emergency responders, and/or law enforcement as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
