Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Patrol in Mission Hills, CA. You will conduct driving and foot patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and guests in a culture of integrity and teamwork.

The role requires standing watch, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment across Cultural Institutions and related sites.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered per applicable law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Age 21+ for armed roles.
• Experience in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff and community members by following site procedures and emergency response if needed.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and security activities as required.

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Driver Patrol in Mission Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will conduct driving and foot patrols at a cultural institution, helping to maintain a welcoming, secure environment for visitors, staff, and guests. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and/or community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly and welcoming environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
