Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Access Coordination in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an aerospace-related location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
