Job summary

Allied Universal in New Port Richey, FL is seeking an Armed Security Guard - Access Credentials to protect clients across various industries. You will monitor facilities, control access, patrol, and provide professional customer service to maintain a secure environment.

The role is full-time with a schedule that includes afternoon/evening shifts and pays $23.50 per hour. You will perform site-specific procedures, respond to alarms, and complete accurate incident reports while adhering to

• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Guard Armed - Access Credentials in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
