Qualifications

• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, screening authorized personnel and visitors, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged access points, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Response in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems and alarm panels, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
