• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with credential checks, and direct authorized personnel and guests.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs, communicating information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Monitoring in Coppell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a professional environment. What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with credential checks and directing authorized personnel and guests.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
