You will provide outstanding customer service, monitor access points, and support a welcoming, orderly environment while upholding site policies and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor/driver authorization, and maintain accurate entry/exit records.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery access at a logistics location, directing authorized traffic as instructed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Security Officer Access Governance in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor or driver authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery access at a logistics and distribution location, directing authorized traffic to designated areas as instructed.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
