Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Observe inbound/outbound vehicle activity and coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols, notifying leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
