Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks an Afternoon Security Officer for a key aerospace and defense location in Appleton, WI. You will provide customer service, monitor premises, and maintain a professional presence while deterring incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted in line with federal, state and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and emergency response procedures at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, facilities, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions and incidents through required channels and written documentation.
• Assist with access control, visitor screening, and site entry requirements with a professional presence.

Security Officer - Full Time - Afternoons in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 03:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, aircraft-related facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents through required communication channels and written documentation.
• Assist with access control, visitor screening, and compliance with site entry requirements while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
