Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Support Patrol in New Castle, DE. You will monitor and protect client sites, deter incidents, support access control, and provide excellent customer service while documenting observations on a tablet or computer.

Minimum requirements include at least 2 years of security experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening where permitted.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Support Patrol in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will respond to incidents, document observations using computer or tablet systems, and collaborate with a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
