Security Officer Full Time Access Badge Patrol

Imperial, PA

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Badge Patrol in Imperial, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access, and support loss-prevention efforts. You will deliver exceptional customer service while using computer or tablet systems to document activities and communicate with site personnel. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, law enforcement, and emergency responders while supporting security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
