Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Oversight in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor site access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while supporting security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points at an industrial manufacturing location, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles according to site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, inspections, and access control events accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
