Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency responses.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs for visitors, contractors, and drivers.
• Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by directing drivers and communicating arrival information to site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access concerns, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and driver logs.
• Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by directing drivers to designated areas and communicating arrival information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
