Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as per law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned utility facilities, buildings, gates, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian access to operational areas while following established procedures for restricted locations and authorized deliveries.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.21 - $21.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Thur: 03:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
