Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Coordinator in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide welcoming customer service to employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and help maintain an orderly environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, processing contractor and delivery arrivals, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, employee access points, visitor areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Support food and beverage facility operations by following applicable site hygiene, personal protective equipment, and restricted‑area requirements while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
