Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Entry Screening at our Sauget, IL location. You will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution spaces, performing screening, access control, and incident documentation to maintain a secure environment.

The role requires vigilant customer service, adherence to site procedures, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents. Night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM are part of the schedule, with a pay rate of $17.98 per hour.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while following site policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles entering logistics areas per site procedures.
• Verify identifications and credentials before allowing entry to restricted areas; report concerns as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for timely notification to leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity across the facility and surrounding areas.

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
