Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Audit in Brookwood, AL to protect client sites across Manufacturing & Industrial sectors. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible security presence.

You will deliver professional customer service, uphold site policies, and work with a team to deter incidents while supporting a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control records and communicate access concerns to leadership.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Background check and drug screen per policy; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control records, issue and collect visitor or contractor credentials, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent locations, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Audit in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
