Qualifications

• Guard card or applicable license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following site access control procedures and responding to security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor/contractor records, and control movement of people and vehicles per protocols.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and security observations.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control the movement of people and vehicles in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
