Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, third-shift role in Muscatine, IA. The officer will patrol unarmed locations, deter incidents, and provide friendly customer service to employees and visitors while following site policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting observations, and maintaining clear incident reports. Candidates must meet age, education, background check, and licensing requirements per state/local laws.

Qualifications

• Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear reporting to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity; verify authorized access and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and enforce security policies.
