Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Muscatine, IA. You will patrol an assigned site, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to employees and visitors.

As an unarmed officer, you will monitor access points, respond to alarms, complete required reports, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and employee entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities through required reports and communication channels.

Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Muscatine, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
