Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is hiring a Security Officer to safeguard guests, Team Members, and casino assets. The role involves monitoring for safety, assisting with incidents, and handling monetary transactions in line with regulations. A valid driver's license, 21+ age, and English proficiency are required.

Experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. Illinois Gaming License eligibility is necessary.

Qualifications

Job description

The position of Security Officer ensures the safety of company assets and the welfare of guests and Team Members.

• Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of guests and fellow Team Members.
• Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Provide security protection for guests, pavilion and casino property.
• Assist with all monetary transactions between the casino cage, gaming tables and slots in compliance with ICs and as required by management.
• Comply with Underage Gaming, Responsible Gaming and Liquor Control regulations.
• Assist injured guests and employees.
• Be alert and react promptly to suspicious persons or disturbing incidents on property.
• React promptly to disturbances on the footprint of the property as required.
• Make every attempt to keep your duties discreet and confidential.
• Drive company vehicle as needed.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid driver’s license.

• Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor.

Salary Range: $17.50-$18.25 per hour (Depending on experience)
