Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for full- and part-time roles.

You will maintain a secure environment, perform access control, patrol premises, observe and report security incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors. Ideal candidates are at least 18, with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license for some sites, and strong observational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Security Officer — Full & Part Time

Site Location: Milwaukee, WI

Wage: $18.00-$21.00

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.

• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required for some sites.


• Above average computer / technology skills needed.


• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!


• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.


• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.


• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.


• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.


• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
