Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Dallas, TX. You will provide outstanding customer service, perform routine patrols across airport facilities, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

You’ll monitor access points and report clearly to airport personnel and leadership.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport facilities, terminal areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures for restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with airport personnel and leadership.

As an unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport facilities, terminal areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with access-control procedures for restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with airport personnel, transportation partners, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• This is a primarily driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
