Join SeaWorld as a Security Officer

What you will do:

You will ensure guest safety, security, and satisfaction by:

• Providing a safe and secure environment for guests and team members
• Practicing safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Working security checkpoints and completing general security tasks
• Inspecting all bags to prevent contraband entry
• Monitoring vehicle and employee entry and exit
• Checking ID cards and controlling traffic
• Performing security lockdowns after hours
• Conducting routine patrols
• Responding to emergencies and providing aid
• Maintaining order in large crowds and managing traffic
• Testifying in court if necessary
• Serving as the Park Dispatcher and Emergency Operations Officer
• Leading security operations in the absence of a supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfort working with large crowds in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
