Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for both full-time and part-time shifts in the Austin area. The role involves maintaining a safe environment through monitoring, access control, and regular patrols across client sites.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Prior security or military experience is a plus; pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment for clients by monitoring premises and enforcing regulations.
• Control access and patrol various locations.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks similar to other security duties as required.
