Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Temple Terrace, FL to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

The role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Schedule will be assigned during onboarding, based on business needs and training progression.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Temple Terrace, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
