Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Graveyard in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet residents and visitors, manage access control, monitor activity, and provide excellent customer service while representing a dynamic team in a secure residential environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. This is a full-time, on-site position with a $20.00 per hour pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while following site procedures.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access, issue credentials, and maintain records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communicate issues per site procedures.
• Respond to resident concerns and incidents calmly and involve appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain clear logs and communicate shift activity to the team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a multifamily residential location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain clear written logs and incident reports, communicate shift activity to team members, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional front-desk presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
