Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time security officer to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, ensuring the safety of people and property. The role involves standing and patrolling, with a Friday–Saturday night schedule from 11pm to 7am.

Starting pay is USD 19 per hour. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid NJ SORA license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Physically able to perform duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to protect people and property.
• Patrol premises to secure entry points and monitor surveillance equipment.
• Complete incident and activity reports with observations and signatures as required.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Fridays and Saturdays 11pm-7am

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
