Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security officer to observe and protect client sites in Newtown, NJ. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents to keep people and property safe.

Requirements include 18+, HS diploma or GED, valid NJ SORA license, ability to communicate in English, and the physical stamina to stand during shifts. The role offers a day-to-day schedule Thursday through Saturday and pays starting at $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License required.
• Must understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Thursday to Saturday 5:30am to 6:30pm

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
