Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer for night shifts at client sites in New Jersey. You will observe, patrol, and report incidents to ensure the safety of people and property.

The role requires 18+, a High School diploma or GED, NJ SORA license, clear English communication, and physical stamina to stand most of the shift; starting pay is $19 per hour.

• Able to stand for majority of shift.

• Document observations and complete incident reports as required.
• Coordinate with supervisor or manager as assigned.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Thursday to Monday 11pm-7am

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
