Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring in Compton, CA. As a Security Officer for Logistics Gate you will monitor entry points, verify access, and assist visitors and staff while delivering a welcoming, professional service.

This full-time role pays $18.75 per hour. You will patrol, report security concerns, respond to incidents, and help maintain safe, smooth daily operations in a variety of client sites.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer for Logistics Gate in Compton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help create a welcoming, professional environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and help support smooth daily operations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
