Allied Universal in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol – Gate Access Control for an overnight shift at a financial services location. You will perform vehicle patrols, monitor entry points, and deliver professional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, preferred badge/access experience, and successful background and drug screening. Minimum age 18 (21 for armed roles) and a high school diploma are expected.

As a Security Officer Patrol - Gate Access Control in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a financial services location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will assist with access control, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
